Handsworth Boys are the oldest section of the recently created Handsworth Junior Sporting Club being formed in the 1986/87 season by Mick Wragg, Mick Waldron and Bob Hill having just one team at Under 10's level.

The club are members of the Sheffield & District Junior Sunday League, in which in the 2002/2003 season, our sixteenth year, we shall have 10 teams competing in the Under 7's through to the Under 16's sections - where the Under 7's, 8's, 9's and 10's play Mini-soccer(6 & 7-a-side).

We also field two teams in the D.B. Sports Under 18's League and an adult side who compete in the Vernon Logistics Sunday Sports League.

It has been the determination and dedication of "The Boys" committee that has resulted in the development of the new sections within the club. And with the continued development of the sports ground at Olivers Mount the future of junior sports within our new club will progress and flourish.
