Roger Evans Memorial Fund

posted 12 Nov 2012, 09:48 by Handsworth Boys
Some of you may well remember Roger Evans who was a referee that always helped us with our Soccer Sixes for many years. Earlier this year in March, exactly a week after Fabrice Muamba collapsed during the Bolton v Tottenham game, Roger collapsed and unfortunately died after refereeing a game. His family started a memorial fund for Roger and are buying a number of defibrillators to place at certain venues across the city and I'm delighted to tell you that Olivers Mount will have one of the first batch.
